People think that going on a pilgrimage to the Holy Shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji is one of the holiest things that can be done. Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji is known around the world as the Mother who gives her children whatever they wish for. She lives in a Holy Cave in the folds of a mountain called Trikuta, which has three peaks.
This religious site is thought to be the most important Shaktipeeth because it is thought that the Goddess Sati's skull fell here.
At Mata Vaishno Devi Cave, the goddess is a five-and-a-half-foot-tall rock called the Pindies that has three heads. On a pilgrimage to Mata Vaishno Devi, people give traditional gifts to Mata, such as a red Chunri, a saree, dry fruits, silver or gold jewelry, Cholas, flowers, and so on.
