During the Great Famine that struck India in 1956, the wife of Bhagwan Das Bagla constructed this structure, which has been translated as the Reservoir of the Wealthy Lady. This location is a magnet for a wide variety of birds and mammals, including the magnificent Nilgai, which is a sight to behold.
Villagers in this area assert that the water at this location does not appear to ever have evaporated and that it remains constant throughout the year. Sethani ka Johara is widely regarded as one of the most interesting destinations in all of Churu, and it is a popular spot for visitors to stop by while they are exploring the city of Churu.
