Changi Jurassic Mile

If you are a fan of dinosaur movies and have ever pondered what it would be like to live in a world where dinosaurs roamed alongside you, you can visit this outdoor exhibit at Changi Airport in Singapore. The Changi Jurassic Mile is an outdoor installation consisting of several life-size dinosaurs in various poses lining a path that extends for more than 1 km. This path is typically used for walking or cycling, but the experience has been greatly enhanced by the addition of these models. 

There are over 20 replicas of dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures in varied poses. You can observe an enormous T-Rex devouring a fence, as well as a pterodactyl hovering above the pathway. There are even several dinosaur embryos strewn about the path, which adds to the excitement. It is as if you are in a live-action version of Jurassic Park, where you must avoid these enormous, deadly beasts and make your way to the other side. 

The experience is especially rewarding for children because the models are so lifelike that it feels as if they have been frozen in time. There are enormous herbivorous dinosaurs peering over the fence, several smaller dinosaurs consuming grass, and a golf cart that has been overturned and is being attacked by a swarm of dinosaurs. While cycling, you can view these models and learn a great deal about these primordial animals that roamed the planet before humans.
