Pin Valley National Park

This area, which serves as an interface between the Lahul and Spiti Valleys and is known as India's highest cold valley National Park, was built to conserve the distinctive natural flora and fauna of Himachal Pradesh. It is named after the lovely Pin River. How To Reach



In order to reach the Pin Valley National park, you can pick from the following two routes:
 
Summer Route: open from July to October:

To travel the 272 km between Chandigarh and Shimla and Kullu, one can either take the road or the air path. You must take a vehicle through Rohtang Pass and Kunzum Pass, which is another 260 kilometers, to travel from Kullu to Kaza via Manali.

You will need to ride a bus or jeep the 32 km from Kaza to Mikkim. The next 10 km can be traveled on foot to get to the area starting from Mikkim.

Winter Route:  open during the remaining months:

You must travel this path by traveling to Shimla and then traveling by bus to Tapri. Take a transport to Kaza from Tapri. The Pin Valley National Park, which is 32 kilometers above Kaza and 10 kilometers distant, will be traveled on foot.

Shimla and Kullu are the locations of the closest rail routes and air assistance, respectively. You will have access to a lot of native assistance at each of these locations to direct you.

Best Time To Visit



July to October:
 During this time, the weather is quite favorable. During this period, the month of August is one of the most favorable time to visit, since the temperature is neutral. 

November to March: During this time, the area witnesses intense snowfall, and the temperatures are quite low. It might not be a very convenient time for tourists to come and visit this national park. 

April to June: During this time, the winters come to a halt and the area experiences mild sunshine but the crowds are still scant during this period. Rains are very rare in this dry region
